Well, maybe you could apply directly to the dev team of mybb and request a change in their core for this feature. Getting this idea implemented, eventhough it's not a bad idea, is not realistic.

It's an award based on luck during special events. I don't think it need any special requirement as we want to give everyone the same conditions. This award doesn't benefit leechers or upgraded members. Same rules for everyone. The only difference with "Leechers" is that thay may post more. But their posts are limited to 18 posts per day while every other usergroup doesn't have any post limitation. So if you just post more you increase your own chance to get one of these awards dropped.
