@Gxd We avoid these type of things as our forum is in breach of Discords terms of service. We choose to separate our Discord from the forum in almost all aspects in hopes of not getting shut down. Our goal is to make the Discord last as long as possible so members do not need to search around for our new one. Thank you for your suggestion though! Something like this would indeed be cool if it didn't have the side effects attached from Discord TOS.

The problem with this is that so many cash-links are randomly generated over several domains, some have an alternative to not generate revenue from those links (although this is technically disallowed) and lastly people can use a shortened URL, there isn't really a fool proof way of blocking all cash links. I shall do a quick sweep of the forum and note down some popular cash-links and put them forward to be blocked but this is a losing battle. As long as members continue to report cash-links then this is the best system we can have. Thank you for your suggestion @MODesigns.

With the introduction of more ranks by us recently there is a chance you could see others in the future but I'm not sure it'll be as abrupt as there. We want ranks to be prestigious, this is why we continuous to increase the like requirements of our like-ranks, create privileged groups such as coder who are considered staff and finally allow users to purchase their own group. If we do add more common groups at a later date I have no doubt that one will be to-do with being a cracker / other skill that is relevant to our board. Thank you for your suggestion.

We'll look into if anything should be done about banned members credits, maybe a lottery. This has not yet been decided though, thank you for your suggestions.

It's called a punishment for a reason, you can't just claim its unfair and have your warning removed. You're quite lucky that am1nol put your warning as such little time, mine are normally a month long. Just wait it out.

These suggestions could prove useful but one thing you're overlooking is you're changing the core functionality on how this MyBB feature works, we hire developers and rely on the skills at our disposal to create new content and updates for you guys. Some updates although useful just don't justify the cost in hiring a developer to do this for us. The return would be minimal compared to spending time and money on something else. Who knows, maybe one day you'll see a feature like this here.

Wouldn't be a problem if people didn't overly tag for no reason and then get quoted by people who don't have the decency to snip unnecessary mentions out. This isn't so much a problem with the system it's just how people choose to use it. It may be worth looking into disabling tagging inside the quote tags.
