[hide] I'mma keep it short and simple. 1) Go to http://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp 2) Enter a Serial Number for an HP Laptop, you will need to click on the details of the warranty. If the ORIGINAL Warranty is within 30 days of the day you are doing this, you are good. If not, you may not be able to get a replacement 3) Tell them you have used your own charger cord and borrowed a friends cord and neither work (this is to prevent a replacement cord being sent out), next, state that you see a power indicator BUT, the screen is completely black and the Laptop is VERY Hot and is making very strange, LOUD, noises. You want to make it seem like that shit is fucked up. 4) Make sure you state that you NEED a replacement ASAP as you have urgent work to take care of. 5) You will either be asked for an address to send a replacement to or, they will make you call a number. 6) The phone support takes around 15-45Minutes to complete. If you are connected to support via phone, make sure you report that 2 chargers didn't work and the laptop is very hot and is making loud noises. If they ever say they will send you a replacement battery, for example, finesse your way OUT of the situation. You want the laptop, not a fucking battery. **DISCLAIMER** This is in the United States, might be a little easier in other places. I have no personally gotten a laptop but it IS possible.
