Avoid Paypal Chargeback Scams/Selly.gg

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, I have recently been introduced to Selly.gg and was wondering how I can avoid Paypal Chargeback scams because I am selling a virtual item. I am new to this and if someone could help me out, I would really appreciate it. Thank you. :D

On Selly, there's an option for PayPal fraud protection. This will protect known scammers/chargebackers from purchasing your product. But there is nothing much you can do about this other than providing nice support and making sure the customer is happy. If the customer files a chargeback on you just to get his money back, simply explain the story to PayPal and you will usually win the case. I always won the case because I simply provide enough information.

@Skryptec Thanks for your inputs regarding this matter, I am new to Selly and was unsure of the protection coverage as a seller there. However, I wanted to know one thing that should such an occurrence takes place wherein a buyer files for a chargeback after a legitimate purchase then what proofs may be provided to PayPal to win the case.

If you could please explain that as well.

Thanks in advance.

Really depends on what the buyer has stated. If the buyer says that he has never received the product, you can simply get the receipt from Selly and provide it to PayPal along with a story explaining what it is and that the buyer has received the product. If the buyer mentions that the product is not as advertised then you really have to write a long story about what the item is and that the item is advertised as it is. Just make sure the item isn't against PayPal's ToS.

Thanks @Skryptec for the neat explanation.

However, I was wondering would that be lawful to ask PayPal for support when I am defending myself for a Cracked account that I have sold to the buyer? I mean you see, if I am selling cracked accounts like Porn or Streaming and if that doesn't works and the buyer ends up filing a dispute then what way might I get the verdict in my favor.

Please shed some light in this mate.

Well, you're not allowed to sell these kind of items so just make sure your accounts work and check them every now and then. In Selly you can also add a additional note for when the user has completed the purchase. This note will be displayed in the email the buyer gets. Mention that the buyer can contact you (with contact details) if the account doesn't work. This way you can prevent negative reviews.

Well thank you very much once again for the update. I thought Selly is popular so it would be better to start there as a seller of cracked accounts. However, is there any other alternatives to Selly which gives some immunity to the sellers after they have made a neat sale of a cracked account.

I don’t think you can be 100% immume to chargebacks, the fraud protection shit on Selly works quite good though

I dont think so, but if there was you can find it before you go create a new product.

You can always check the settings also

I agree with what everyone else is saying.

Try your best to make sure all your accounts work, and the buyer is happy overall with thier accounts.

Also, you should enable the fraud protection, because as you advertise and grow people are so much of cheap fucks to chargeback on a most likely 2 dollar purchase lol
