If you phone, you are directly speaking to them ((usually fast-ish)), but you have to use your voice. If you drive to the store, you will be speaking to them fastly, but in person. The method: Contact the fast food place. ((you can usually find the details online)) and say something like this: "The food was cold and was awful to eat, We were on a trip and thought we could stop off at (fast food place here), which is usually our favourite place to eat ((so customer service thinks they will lose a loyal customer)), but the food looked old and bland, and the (meal name) was way too salty and it was just all in all a really bad meal." If you don't have a receipt, do not order big meals and complain or they may ask for proof. If they ask for proof anyway, just say that you threw away the receipt with the bag of food or that you didn't get one when you ordered the meal.
