[hide]1. Logout of the Steam Client 

2. Get a vpn similar to Nord VPN for a cheap price (Around 50 cents or less)

3. Go to Steam Database ( Linked here: https://steamdb.info/ )

4. Type in the game, or games you wish to purchase.

5. Choose the country that it's cheapest at (If purchasing multiple you can only have one country change every month after a purchase so beware to choose one that is best for all)

6. Use your VPN to choose a country, for most games it's probably Turkey or Russia, Russia sometimes providing even cheaper options than Turkey.

7. Go to account details, click update store currency, choose whichever country you chose to get the games for at cheapest price.

8. Put in random info, even random characters will work.

9. You're done, everything you purchase now is cheaper.

 

Gifting does not work with the currency change, Valve has made that a thing.

 

Disclaimer, I do not own this method, this for a while has been a well-known method among many users, but some still do not know.

 

What I have added: Way to find the Country that offers the cheapest price for a certain game & that Steam Gift Cards can be bought for a very cheap price.

 

Sometimes, changing the country may take a few tries.[/hide]
