Player 56 Implement a “Likes Given” on their profile that is only visible to admins/ general public if you would want to. It helps us mods do our job better. We do not have to click 1 by 1 to check. Rather with this function - we can just click and see which posts that that person had liked. Then we can decide whether it is about like-boosting. More and more people are resorting to like boosting and spamming posts to receive auth keys. With the rules in place , we have to administer the punishments accordingly since like-boosting is not allowed. With this function, like boosters are more easily identified and punished. Player 56 For rank application sticky thread, I think its better if we had the requirements section so that users can know what to expect to be able to get the usergroup. Edited with my inputs : Users, Since we changed our 2nd level usergroup to active members, use this thread as an example on how to apply for the active member usergroup. What are the perks for an active member? The same a 2nd level user had. Read them here. What is the active member usergroup? An active member is someone who posts and contributes on a regularly basis. It's comparable with the old 2nd Level usergroup. The only difference is that this group is not reacheable with likes but your application. Your online time is also a huge indicator if you get accepted or denied. Ranks How to apply for it? Create a thread with your application in the following sub forum: https://cracked.to/Forum-Rank-Applications Requirements 1. At least 30 Threads worth of content 2. At least 20 Likes 3. At least 3 days worth of online time (Threads and likes are requirements for auth , any possible thing to do might be to give auth to >active member (those that we have approved so that it keeps our stuffs exclusive and prevent like-boosters and spammers from getting it so easily) [DO NOT post this :kek: , just a quick suggestion] Am I guaranteed to be accepted if I meet all 3 requirements listed ? Nothing is guaranteed. We will have to review everything about you before a decision is made. Even though you might have 30 threads , but if all threads like LQ, for e.g. x1 Spotify , x2 Netflix , then it will be rejected. We will also be checking for any inconsistency in the number of likes, so please do not resort to like-boosting. Will I always keep the rank once accepted? No. If we detect you become inactive or only visit the forum once a month without posting anything you'll be moved to the normal members usergroup. For Ban appeal, I added some inputs to make it better. Hello, Here is how you can apply for your ban appeal. 1. Create a secondary account (Name it your banned username and add a few numbers) - E.g. John (Banned) , Appeal Account = John321 2. Write your Ban appeal in the format written below : THREAD TITLE: Usernames's Ban Appeal FORMAT: Code: Code: Banned Username : (Many of the users were unable to access , using username allows for us to go to their profile as well) Ban date: Reason of the ban: Who banned you: Did you read the forum rules after being banned:(Yes/No) Why do you think that you should be unbanned: Additional information: If you do not follow this format , your appeal would be processed as "FAILED". 3. If your appeal is successful , please switch back to your account. The account you used to write this appeal will be banned in 24 hrs. If your appeal is not successful, there will not be a second chance for you and the account you've used to write this appeal will be banned as well. Am1nol 256 Suggestion: Remove BBcode to count as actual characters Why?: This way leechers can't just quote a thread and then bypass the minimum characters needed to post restriction. This way they will have to actually reply.
