Cawk 19 Working on a modern news app where users can contribute. What do you guys think? Need ideas / Suggestions seems like good shit, but you need to think if the app is going to blow up, what are you going to do? im talking as in giving users permissions, is it going to be like wikipedia? any user can change the information without any type of checking (at least until a mod checks it out) or will you make certain people able to contribute? its really hard either way, as in the first option you need a lot of mods if the app is big, and if only certain people can contribute its going to be as hard, as you need people to update stories regularly. anyways, really nice concept but the execution is difficult. gl Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

And i understand where you're coming from. Well, users can use the app in two ways. Be a reader or a writer. I'll go into detail when i can be bothered on the ins and outs of it. I'm thinking of making a system like Valve's overwatch. Where you have to earn the right to contribute towards approving a post. I'm sure how people will earn it however. I'm thinking about making a leveling system for both roles. So maybe use that? I'm sure yet. Just need to keep at it, i guess. :) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
