Email the Fortnite department of Epic Games ( https://fortnitehelp.epicgames.com/custo...emails/new) I couldn't find a direct phone number to the Fortnite department. Step 4. In the email say something among the lines of "Hello, this is ______ (name) and today I discovered that my _____ (child, if you said your age on the account is >20. Young relative, if you said your age was <20) had purchased ___(X$) of V-Bucks without my permission. I do understand that some fault is on me for letting my ____ (child/young relative) irresponsibly access the store. However the ____ (X$) means a lot to me, because it took hours of my minimum wage job to make that money. " Here, you have two options. A or B A. In the story, if you're saying that your child purchased the V-Bucks, say "During rough financial times like these, my child likes to immerse himself/herself in his/her favorite game: Fortnite." B. In the story, if you're saying that your young relative purchased the V-Bucks, say "My ___ (young relative / niece/ cousin) loves the game so much, he/she bought the sale without thinking" Now, end the story with "The money means a lot to me, and I was wondering if a company like Epic Games could do anything to help me recover the money. I have learned my lessons and will make sure that my _____ (child, relative) won't have access to my payment options" Now, obviously don't copy this word to word. Epic Games is going to patch it once they notice. You - the social engineer- should be able to make your own stories. Here are the key elements you need 1. Not you who purchased. You need to emphasize that you - the account owner- didn't purchase it 2. That money was hard to earn and means alot. I used the example of minimum wage to illustrate how important the money os. You can say that you're broke and that the money was from - let's say your deceased grandfather's will. That will for sure show how much that money means to you. 3. Talk about how the game, fortnite means alot to the child/ young relative. Praising them/ raising their egos is always a good thing to do when trying to SE. 4. Talk about how a might company like Epic Games should be able to help this issue. Something like inserting in the call "I hope that the company that made the terrific game, fornite, will be able to help me. " Same reasoning as point 3. That's it!
