You dont need 20mil bots to down cloudflare or any site, he may have 20mil botlist but may not have 20mil active working bots, getting 20mil active bots from exploited ssh connections is beyond ridiculous, it takes about 7k to down BlazingFast Ddos protection one of best out there and varying from 5k-20k to down a server. Discord gets downed all time and cloudflare sites, they can back trace and trace original connections and serve 15yrs+ for denial of service, Ddos'ing is in many forms from any method of mass botting etc, credential stuffing, bruteforcing and any other fourm of auto botting, no harm can be done from Ddos'ing rather than a temporary downing of a site.
