Crusader2010 0 Let's see if this actually works... And it doesn't. "Error on pre-activation!. Try to manually stop the service MBAMService" Right, I love it when stupid programmers throw the same error message no matter what the fatal error actually was. How the hell am I supposed to stop the MBAMService service when I don't even have MBAM installed???? Fwcking scammers. Tutorial was useless.
Crusader2010 0 The so called keygen doesn't work. "Error on pre-activation!. Try to manually stop the service MBAMService". How the hell am I supposed to stop a service for a program that isn't even installed? Stupid programmers. Why do you show the same error message regardless of the exception that was actually thrown?! PS: here's how to fix it. If you're also getting that error, it means something went wrong and your MBAM won't get cracked. 1. Install your MBAM program; 2. Usually this should ask for a computer restart. Agree and continue (if it doesn't ask for one, I suggest restarting it yourself after the installation); 3. When you're back into Windows, MBAM should start automatically; right click on the system tray icon and click on "Quit Malwarebytes"; 4. Edit your hosts file (from C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc) and add the following text, on a new line, at the end (or uncomment it if it's already there with a '#' in front): 0.0.0.0 keystone.mwbsys.com 5. Open up Malwarebytes and close any error messages that might appear; 6. The program should show up as activated and now you just need to setup your exclusions (Settings -> Exclusions). Add your hosts file to the exclusion list (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts); This is how it worked for me. Tested with Malwarebytes 3.6.1.
