Budget build pc for gaming?

Recommended Posts

Before I had built a pc with i5 2500k that I luckily found on newegg for $100 brand new, gtx 650 ti, seasonic g series 500w psu, asrock b75 pro-m, ben-q 27 inch monitor, samsung evo 125 ssd, generic keyboard and mouse(till I upgraded to a razr naga) and a cheap tower that came up to around $700. Any suggestions on a better build for around the same price? I mainly just play LoL, CSGO, Hearthstone, and going to get into fortnite once this is built.

Thanks for your setup info, but I dont think im going to need that much memory, I'll probably settle for 125gb ssd and a tb hdd, I like that gfx card you have I'll probably end up coughing the money for that and the mobo. And for the cpu I liked the i5 2500k. Do you think it's worth it to buy a refurbished one or should I wait it out and save for a better cpu and cooler? I'm not that much in a hurry to build it but I dont want something to play on. My other pc got stolen when someone broke into my house. I've been itching to play something lol

I've been messing around with putting parts together, unfortunately prices are in UK Pounds but I managed to 'build' a decent PC. Without a graphics card it was just under 380 pounds, but I'm sure a 100 pound+ graphics card would make a fully functional gaming PC.

CPU/APU: AMD Ryzen 3 2200g

Motherboard: Asrock AMD Pro4

RAM: 8GB

Storage: 1TB Hard drive + 128 M.2 SSD

PSU: Ace BR Black 700W

Case: Antec VSK 3000B

I would go towards ryzen right now, perhaps get a ryzen 2600 and a gtx 1060 or rx 580, I use the Ryzen 2600 and a 6gb 1060 and every game that I play is smooth on max settings

Idk tbh, mine costs 500$ and I can barely run Fortnite on 60fps (lowest settings)
