Jmatts54 5 When I used to mess around with music, I used to use FL Studio, I've tried mobile one's like Caustic 3, Music Maker and G-Stomper (amongst others) and yet I've still found FL Studio to be the easiest to use.
TheStudent 3 Reaper Program, its not easy but its got lots of options in samples and drum machines, whatever you need for what ever style of music you like to make.

Talork 0 I cant fault FL Studio. Simple, easy to use and easy to learn. Everything is clean and layed out aesthetically. One thing that's great about it is the piano roll, the part where you're gonna spend a lot of time. Would definitely recommend.
Burricane 0 I use Logic Pro X. I switched over from hardware based production a few years back. It's mac only but it's been perfect for me. I stopped sampling almost a decade ago so I mainly create with a midi keyboard. It can be heavy on your computer so if you take the plunge make sure you have enough RAM to run plugins. spilltea 0 I use FL Studio, because all other programs seem too difficult to use. I've been trying to make bedroom pop lately, but it doesn't work out. :(
djbootstrap 16 Ableton is by far the best software for music production and performance
