Favorite and / or current Operating system

which operating system do u guys like the most and which are you currently using and for what reason?

Do you guys also use live cd or is your os installed on your pc. I am mainly making this thread since I want to use a more secure or better operating system that I can swap with my operating system or that I can maybe dual boot.

 

Currently I have:

windows 10 with no drastic changes 

this is my main operating system and no I do not feel safe. 

 

and ubuntu and windows xp running on virtualbox:

Using ubuntu for mainly git and writing papers for university.  

windows xp havent opened it in a long time.

When it comes down to it, I'm not really worried about what can go wrong, most of the time it's what I feel is easiest to use. Windows 7 will be the only system I'd want to use, but just like with XP, there will probably be a day Microsoft stop producing patches for it.

Windows 10 is really good imo, though I also use windows 7 on my laptop, I can't say which one I like more.
