It depends on how you define the end of the world. The planet will still be here long after humanity has either left or been wiped out. It'll probably be the expansion of the sun that gets it.

Overpopulation which leads to a spread of diseases to go around, and then eventually governments may just have to nuke their people because of the population control issue. This world is pretty big, but we have doubled our population in the past 50 years alone. That's not a good sign. People are out here having more than two kids, which isn't a sustainable growth factor when considering the economy and the population density in most places.

if the world were to come to end, it would be cause of something we did to ourselves. My guess is that we would run out of resources due to over population and be a every person for themselves type of situation. Although I wouldn't be surprised if the world ends because technology grew out of hand and would result in nuclear war
