You are "selling" your bandwidth to scientific organizations. About 1GB/day per device:

Even a few GB a day wouldn't slow down a normal internet connection. It's contributed around the day so you wouldn't even notice.

 

Advanced guide: 

1GB+ a day is to little for you? Just use your mobile phone and/or a pc for extra income every device/simulated device can use up to 2GB a day:

 

1GB a day is less than a 0.08ks/s the average bandwidth in the us is about 20mb/s so you wouldn't even notice.

 

Trick:

Use a virtual machine and/or a VPN to increase your income dramatically 

 

Calculations:

 

Average US bandwidth (the actual bandwidth is much higher  than 20mb/s):

 

20mb/s* 24h(a day)*60(minutes)*60(seconds) =172800mb/s = 172gb a day

 

172* 0,10$ = 17,20$ a day 

 

this means 17,2$*365 = about 6000$ a year if you max ou a bad average us bandwidth 

 

 

PS; the program runs in the background and you probably wouldn't even notice it.

depends on your connection. if your download speed is above 2mb/s it's possible. If you live near a city 10mb/s shouldn't be a big deal.
